I translate your French, Spanish or Portuguese text into idiomatic English, taking into account the target audience. My specialisms include arts + culture (concert programmes, exhibition content); media & marketing (newspaper articles, ad campaigns), international development, and travel & tourism. Since 2018, I have been developing a specialism in medical translation for insurance purposes as well as operation manuals for surgeons.

I edit English texts, improving the quality and flow of the piece to provide my clients with high level content. I can, if necessary, re-write whole paragraphs and change the style of the piece. I take into account register, style, and terminology to produce a text that meets the requirements of its target audience.

I also provide post-editing services. This involves amending machine-generated translations to achieve an acceptable final product.
